The 3rd Foot Cane

The 3rd Foot Cane Foot

How Is The 3rd Foot Cane and Crutch Foot Different From Other Cane, Crutch And Walking Stick Feet

The 3rd Foot Cane and 3rd Foot Crutch foot are sized, proportioned and designed to move, pivot and maintain balance, stability, upright posture and the body's natural alignment like a foot.

Traditional cane, crutch and walking stick feet are not sized or proportioned to move, pivot or maintain balance and the body's natural alignment like a foot. In order to maintain balance the users arm and hand must extend away from the side of the body and use the cane, crutch or walking stick handle to maintain balance. The spine loses its natural alignment and the head stops being aligned and centered over the shoulders

The human body is designed to maintain and regain upright posture, balance and stability well into old age and after an injury as long as the body maintains its natural alignment with the head upright and feet contacting the ground from heel to toe when walking.

The theory behind traditional cane, crutch, walking stick feet is that you use your arm or arms to extend your body's base of support and use the cane, crutch and walking stick handle to transmit some of your weight to the ground to maintain balance. The only problem with that theory is that your arms and hands are not designed to extend your body's base of support and carry your body's weight to maintain balance your feet are.

When you use your arm/arms to extend your body's base of support your spine loses its natural alignment. Your head stops being aligned and centered over your shoulders and becomes positioned in front of the rest of your body as you walk. When your head becomes positioned in front of the rest rest of your body your walking stride becomes too small and too unstable for your feet to contact the ground from heel to toe and engage your core muscles. You become more and more unstable and more bent over with time because your body has stopped moving the way it was designed to maintain its natural alignment and engage the core muscles.

3 Tip 4 Tip & Prong Cane Feet vs The 3rd Foot Cane foot

3 Tip, 3-Prong, And 4 Tip Cane Feet Don't Move Or Maintain Balance Like A Foot

3 prong, 3 tip and 4 tip cane feet use the cane handle to maintain balance because the cane feet are not proportioned to move and maintain balance, stability and the body's alignment like a foot. These cane feet can stand up by themselves. What they don't do is let you stand up by yourself with your head upright and aligned over your body and your feet contacting the ground from heel to toe engaging your core muscles. The longer you use these canes the more bent over you become.

3rd Foot Cane Foot

The 3rd Foot Cane foot has the same proportions as your foot. It can maintain balance, stability and the body's alignment from the back of the cane foot to the front of the cane foot like a foot. Allowing your body to move the way it was designed to move to maintain or regain an upright, stable walking gait that engages the core muscles when walking forward, turning, walking backward, sitting down and standing up.
